SiC Ceramic liner/Tiles have excellent abrasion resistance qualities and can be used in pipes, cyclone, elbow, cone, spigot and hoppers in mineral processing plants and power generation.

High hardness. Moh's hardness of SiC is 9 (Hv0.5=2400) which is higher than that of alumina (Hv=1800).
